I know this is an extremely bad neighborhood, but thought that the casino would be well secured and supervised, but it is not. To begin with I did give it a good try - I went on four different occasions at different times during the day and night to check out the situation. I have been going to Foxwoods and Mohegan since the first day they both opened and the smoke (and smell) is unbelievable if you are a non smoker. However, the only thing I can say on the plus side is that it is smoke free.
Like everyone else, I was excited to go to the new casino as it would save about an hour drive time off going to the Connecticut casinos.
